Gout Recipe: Onion Bread

Onion Bread


4 cups of Bisquick baking mix
2 eggs
1 can (10 ¼ oz) condensed cream of onion soup
1 can (2.8 ounces) French fried onions, crushed and 2 tablespoons reserved

  • Heat oven to 350º.  Grease 1½-quart casserole dish.  Mix all ingredients except reserved onions; beat vigorously 30 seconds.  Spread in casserole dish.  Sprinkle reserved onions over top; press lightly into dought
  • Bake 60 to 65 minutes or until deep golden brown.  Loosen edge from side of casserole dish.  Cool on wire rack about 20 minutes before slicing.  Serve warm
